Of course there's a reason why this disclosure happened today.
Which is in itself illuminating. The proposed response (an even bigger battleship with even more futuristic weapons, although a reasonable amount of VLS cells (200) although the weapons might raise eyebrows.

Ha ha, excellent! I read Naval News regularly, and I'm trying to guess how far down the article I would have got before I checked the date. Sadly, I think it is to 'quantum hydrosonic"...

Y’know, if I heard “Donald Trump today pulled off his skin, to reveal Mickey Mouse underneath” or “Donald Trump owned the libs today by m.st.rbating furiously over a walrus”, I wouldn’t even bother fact checking it. I’d just take as true.
