I don't know about anyone else, but I could really do with some reminders that the world isn't entirely f.cked right now.
My first contribution - Australian humpback whales are no longer endangered. It's cautious optimism - while populations have recovered from whaling there are still risks from the likes of climate change - but it shows that recovery is possible.
