Saw a post on LI yesterday where some person involved in building professed their support for Reform in order to get houses built...

Someone waded him to remind him that Jenrick was a former housing minister and achieved sweet FA.

Another questioned why the algorithm had service up this post given they didn't know the person, but it was clear they were ill and they hoped they got better soon.

I don't generally like political posts on LI but that one turned out quite funny.

Yep, a trick the Tories pulled time and time again - find some way of enriching your mates (avoiding a tax; profitable public sector contracts, whatver) and the mate then donates a lump of it to the Tory Party.

I hate it - it's corruption - the taxpayer, in effect, financing to Tories !!

An interesting article
https://www.warrington-worldwide.co.uk/ ... al-crisis/

A Reform councillor on Warrington Borough Council has defected to the Conservatives because of "a lack of serious engagement from his former party" in respect of the Council's funding crisis. His 'concerns were dismissed as “not a priority”' by Reform UK HQ

Pretty damning of Reform as a political party.

Jenrick as Shadow Chancellor... big title for a party with a handful of MP's.

Still, at least he understands numbers up to £12,000... could have ended up with "30p Lee"

Braverman just announced Reform wants to scrap the Equality Act should they get into government. Irony abounds. And evil, lots of evil.

Does she not understand she's a political "beard"? Those racist f.ckers would throw her out too if they could.

Reporting on a presser at Church House, Westminster. Which I understand is the HQ of the C of E. OK, the C of E will want to make money from its spaces, letting them out to all sorts as they do from their many church halls throughout the country. Or is the C of E now the Reform party at prayer?
