His fourth job in the last year. It is not as though Energy Security and Net Zero, where he was in post for 7 months, is one that is easy for new ministers to learn and understand their brief. I suppose you can say that his previous job change was more of a name change, but he has been in charge of energy for just 10 months.

Look, I saw Liam Fox mentioned as a possibility. Not sure how you all feel about it but I wouldn’t see it as wise.

My avatar was a scientific result that was later found to be 'mistaken' - I rarely claim to be 100% correct
ETA 5/8/20: I've been advised that the result was correct, it was the initial interpretation that needed to be withdrawn
